Our club has supported CS#1's activities in a number of ways over the last few years, and with two additional activities in November.
With great weather, great entertainment and a good crowd on hand, members thoroughly enjoyed assisting the CS#1 Family Fun Day in a range of capacities, including staffing the cake stall, cooking and selling sausages, MC'ing the event and much more. The club also provided financial support, primarily to cover the cost of signs for the event.
After hearing of the significantly increased numbers of families being supported by CS#1 this year, a number of club members contributed to support their Christmas hampers appeal. We provided nearly $300 of items that will go some way to assisting some families in need enjoy a little Christmas cheer. CS#1 are collecting for their Christmas hampers until 5 December.
