The first meeting for September was interesting with our guest speaker being Area 5 Governor, Gary Davis, who provided an overview of his role and responsibilities as he supports our Club throughout this Rotary year.
Gary joined the Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak in 2018, served as Club President during 2021-2022 and succeeded our own Lynne Duckham OAM as AG at the beginning of this Rotary year.
Gary is also Chair of the District 9705 Conference Committee which will be held at Queanbeyan between 20-22 October 2023. Gary and his Committee have been able to secure a variety of inspiring and thought-provoking speakers and many Sundowners are gearing up to cross over the border to attend the Conference.
