It was great to welcome Keith Cantlie and Stuart Davis‑Meehan from Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn to our meeting this week.
Their insights highlighted just how powerful the Rotary–Vinnies partnership can be in supporting vulnerable members of our community.
For nearly five years, we have worked alongside Vinnies, most notably through our monthly support of the Vinnies Night Patrol in Queanbeyan and Dickson and our involvement in the Community Inclusion Program at Oaks Estate, helping build connection and social cohesion.
The discussion challenged us to think bigger about what’s possible. There are clear opportunities to deepen and expand our collaboration across the Canberra region and we’re excited about what that could mean for increasing our collective impact.
