Rotarians right across the globe make a positive and lasting contribution to the communities they serve.
This is no different in the ACT where 15 Rotary Clubs comprised of hundreds of volunteers come together each week to undertake service activities, improve life opportunities of the most vulnerable and make positive change.
The ACT Legislative Assembly’s Standing Committee on Economy and Gender and Economic Equality are currently conducting an inquiry into unpaid work in the ACT.
To assist the Standing Committee to further understand the broad community service opportunities there are in the ACT and how the Sundowners works to implement initiatives that align with the seven overarching missions of Rotary, the Sundowners have provided a submission which can be viewed here.
