At a time of growing global uncertainty and rising geopolitical tensions, the simple act of promoting peace feels more important than ever.
We were proud to join with Daramalan College to unveil Peace Pole number 515 in the school quadrangle. The pole carries the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in the four languages taught at the college: English, German, French and Japanese.
At the ceremony, we spoke about why schools are such powerful places to invest in peace because they are where values are shaped, perspectives are challenged and where future leaders begin to understand their responsibility to one another and the wider world.
Peace Poles are a reminder of the hope we all share for a more peaceful future.
