Here at the Sundowners we think weekends are for making the ACT an even better place to live.
That’s why we headed out to the Wallington Independent Living Complex at Rivett on Saturday morning to help residents complete some odd-jobs that can sometimes be a bit difficult for them to navigate. From cleaning fans to sprucing up garden beds, we were kept busy.
And as always, the residents reminded us why we love doing this work. They put on the most beautiful morning tea to say thank you. It was a wonderful way to share stories, enjoy some home-baked treats and spend time together.
