In August we were proud to sponsor Madeleine and Jodie to represent Germany at the National Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA). Over two days, they debated some of the world’s most pressing issues, including:
Strengthening the role of the UN in promoting democratisation and genuine elections
Preventing and combatting environmental crimes
Global food security
Achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine
Coordinating outcomes of major UN conferences on education
Protecting civilians and supporting humanitarian operations in Gaza
Madeleine and Jodie shared their experiences of researching Germany’s positions, preparing speeches and negotiating with other “countries” on complex topics.
