We’re excited to announce that we have received $8,850 in funding from the ACT Government through the ACT Community Garden Grants Program.
The funding will allow us to support Community Services #1 enhance its community garden at Narrabundah. We will be adding new garden beds, improving water management with wicking beds and making the space more accessible for everyone to enjoy. The grant also helps provide training so locals can build their gardening skills and confidence.
We were delighted to join ACT Minister for Climate Change, Environment, Energy and Water, Suzanne Orr MLA on Tuesday, 4 November for the official announcement. Sincere thanks to the ACT Government for supporting this great local project that brings people together and helps our community grow.
