Our community garden enhancement project at Community Services #1 is nearing completion, with our team out this weekend installing the third wicking bed.
This bed complements the two we constructed in November, which are already delivering real outcomes for the community. Thanks to the recent rain, they’re now thriving and full of fresh vegetables.
The wicking beds are just one part of a broader project that also includes water tank improvements, upgrades to essential infrastructure, the delivery of gardening training courses and improved access to the garden for members of the community.
