One of the wonderful things about Rotary is the connections you form, not only within your own club but with Rotarians from across the community — and beyond.
At our 20 May meeting we hosted the Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra for an evening of fun, fellowship and action.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about each other’s projects. It also marked the beginning of our toy drive, with both clubs joining forces to help Kids in Care ACT deliver gifts to vulnerable children at Christmas.
Throughout May and June we’re seeking donations of toys, including:
👱♀️ Barbie dolls (or equivalent)
🧸 Soft toys
🧱 Lego
⚽️ Footballs and soccer balls
🛻 Cars/trucks
🧩 Easy games (like Connect 4)
🏏 Bats and balls
🎾 Outdoor games (playable in small areas)
📚 Books
💧 Water pistols
🖐️ Play-Doh
👱♀️ Barbie dolls (or equivalent)
