What an incredible day marking Rotary International's EPIC Day of Service!
It was fantastic to see so many members of the community come together to pack 1,000 birthing kits in just three hours.
Each kit contains six essential items: a plastic sheet, soap, sterile gloves, a scalpel blade, string and gauze. These simple items that make a life-changing difference. Around the world, these kits help prevent childbirth-related infections and improve health outcomes for mothers and babies by supporting safer births and better access to health services.
Thanks to the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia, these kits will now be sent to remote communities across the developing world where they will help women give birth more safely.
