What a fantastic morning at the Wallington Independent Living Complex!
We joined with residents to plant 800 tulip bulbs that will form part of our own little Floriade in Rivett this spring.
There was plenty of fun and laughter as we worked our way through the bulbs, with it a great opportunity to connect and learn some innovative planting techniques from the residents.
Today's planting is just the first stage of the project. In a couple of weeks, we'll be back at Wallington for a second planting day, where we will plant a further 800 annuals.
When spring arrives and the tulips and annuals burst into bloom, the gardens around Wallington will be a colourful spectacle – we can’t wait!
