At our 5 November meeting we took a break from the news cycle to focus on a range of exciting upcoming events and activities.
They include:
- A working bee to install and paint benches and flower beds at Oaks Estate on Sunday 17 November in support of the Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn Community Inclusion Program.
- Packing basic necessities for women and girls as part of the Share the Dignity It’s in the Bag campaign at our next meeting on Tuesday 19 November.
- Our next BBQ fundraiser at Bunnings Fyshwick on Saturday 23 November.
- Attending the upcoming Rotary Domestic Violence and Connection Day at Lennox Gardens in Canberra on Friday 29 November.
- Packing Christmas hampers on Tuesday 3 December in support of the Vinnies Community Inclusion Program at Oaks Estate.
- Managing the BBQ at Community Services #1 Christmas event on Thursday 5 December.

We were also delighted to induct Christian as our newest member. Christian has been a friendly face at recent meetings and events — and we look forward to formally having him on board.
