We are very pleased to have achieved our chartered Rotary Club status on the 20th of August 2021. This means we are no longer a satellite club of the Rotary Club of Canberra Sunrise and are now an independent Rotary Club. Chartering culminated a flurry of activities by our hard working Charter Committee - thanks team.
Our Charter Celebration Committee have also been working hard to set up a charter celebration party to be remembered. We were ready to launch the event when Canberra went into lockdown. The event has been rescheduled to the evening of Friday 25th of February 2022 at the National Press Club, from 6.30pm till late. Tickets are $70 per head, and cover a two course meal and a night of fun, along with a look back at the Sundowners road to chartering. Tickets are available here. We are sure it will be a night to remember.
Invitations have been sent out to Canberra Rotary Clubs and some of our friends and key supporters. Anyone with a love for Rotary and community service is welcome to join us.
