On Saturday, 23 August, we joined forces with the Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra at Black Mountain Peninsula for a Plalkin’ My World session.
From a soccer ball, random pieces of clothing, footwear, cooking utensils and plenty of plastics, we collected litter from around Lake Burley Griffin, helping to stop it getting into our waterways.
It was also a great opportunity to get know some of our friends from Jerra. This project is a perfect example of the good that can be achieved when Rotarians unite.
A big thanks to all those who rolled up their sleeves and joined us for a fun session.
