With the rain clearing on Saturday morning, we took the opportunity to visit the residents at the Wallington complex at Rivett to lend a hand with some gardening, household chores and sorting out a few IT issues.
To keep our energy levels high with all the activity, the residents prepared a very impressive morning tea. Sharing a cuppa and some homemade treats was the perfect way to hear a few wonderful stories from the people who call Wallington home.
We really enjoyed the chance to contribute, to connect and to learn more about the lives of the residents. It was a rewarding and heart-warming morning for everyone involved.
