Welcoming a new baby into the world is an exciting time but many expectant mothers around the globe risk giving birth without access to basic medical supplies and support.
On Saturday 17 May we’ll be packing 3,000 lifesaving birthing kits to support women in developing countries to give birth safely.
The Birthing Kit Foundation Australia distributes kits to remote regions of the developing world, where they have been proven to save the lives of mothers and their newborns.
By volunteering just two or three hours of your time, you’ll enjoy a hands-on activity for a really worthy cause.
This year’s event is part of the Rotary International EPIC Day of Service, with thousands of Rotary clubs worldwide undertaking projects aimed at making a lasting difference. We’d love you to join us!
There are three shifts to choose from and no prior experience is required.
