On Tuesday, 7 October 2025, we held our Hat Day fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for Australian Rotary Health's Lift the Lid on Mental Illness initiative. To show our support, members and friends donned a variety of fun, entertaining, eye-catching and conversation-starting headwear.
Hat Day is ARH’s longest-running mental health fundraising event each year. Since its inception, the campaign has helped ARH direct millions in funding toward mental health research grants, PhD scholarships, fellowships and more. We were proud to make a donation tonight to help push research forward and bring hope to those living with mental illness.
We were thrilled to welcome Past District Governor Stephen Humphreys, Chair of ARH, who gave a compelling overview of the work ARH is doing in the mental health research space. The work they do is creating lasting and positive change for those living with a mental health illness.

We were also delighted to host friends from the Rotary Club of Tuggeranong, Rotary Club of Batemans Bay, Rotary Club of Gungahlin, Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra and the Rotaract Club of Canberra.
Thank you to everyone who attended, wore a hat, shared a smile and supported ARH. Together, we are lifting the lid on mental illness
