At this week’s meeting we celebrated four years since we were officially chartered!
The evening included reflections from some of our charter members, a round of Sundowners-themed trivia, and of course, birthday cake!
We were thrilled to be joined by PDG Monica Garrett of the Rotary Club of Canberra Burley Griffin, whose vision and leadership were instrumental in helping establish a Rotary Club focused on younger members, hands-on community service and flexibility.
Since chartering, we have completed more than 800 volunteer shifts, contributing over 2,500 hours of service and have directly injected more than $30,000 into the local community. Talk about being busy!
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far and even more excited about the years ahead.
