Canberra Sundowners members and residents of the Wallington complex in Rivett orchestrated a wonderful Floriade community event today with live music, face painting, free sausages and drinks and plants and cake stalls. With over 150 friends, family and locals visiting over 4 hours in beautiful Spring weather, there was a wonderful social and fun atmosphere throughout.
Special thanks also to the ACT Government for the bulbs and annuals for the community gardens and for a generous grant to support the event.
