We love an opportunity to hang out and at our latest "fifth Tuesday" social catch-up on 29 October we shared a bite to eat with some special guests.
We were joined by the South Dakota First Nations Group Study Exchange delegates for a classic Australian pub meal in the nation’s capital.
The Group Study Exchange program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young professionals and business people to exchange visits between paired Rotary districts in different countries. Delegates learn more about their host country's way of life, develop personal and professional relationships, and share ideas.
Since 2020, our Rotary district (9705) has been supporting the cultural exchange of First Nations young professionals.
The dinner was a great opportunity to meet the delegates and find out more about their time in Australia. Rotary truly is a global organisation!
Thanks to the Civic Pub for accommodating our big, cheerful group of Rotarians and friends.
