Kirsty and Oscar Carrasco have dedicated nearly two decades to supporting the people of Ensenada in Mexico by volunteering their time to build houses for the poor, empowering women and equipping young teens with the skills required to navigate an evolving and complex world.
We were honoured to welcome them to our meeting this week to hear firsthand how their work has a positive and lasting impact on others.
Their message of doing good has inspired us to continue our own service projects in the Canberra community which bring joy and a sense of happiness to others.
