At our meeting on 18 November, we joined with the Rotary Club of Tuggeranong for a powerful hands-on service project supporting women and teen girls escaping violence.
Together, we packed more than 50 preloved handbags with essential items like shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, brushes and hair ties. They are small everyday things that can make a big difference for someone rebuilding their life.
These bags have now been donated to Toora Women and Community Services #, where they’ll be distributed to women and girls doing it tough in the lead-up to Christmas.
When Rotarians come together, we can reach further and help more people who need it most.
