As in past years we joined Ahmed & friends from @Ahmadiyahmuslimcommunity at their Clean Up Australia Day event, held on 6th March. The Ahmadi's ethos is around peace: "Love all, hate none" which seems timeless. A small intrepid team from the Sundowners joined Ahmed and his team scouring the top of Mount Ainslie for all kinds of rubbish and recycling for a couple of hours. Quite a haul of rubbish and a little recycling was collected. Our hard work was followed by a delicious BBQ, with hamburgers full of spice and flavour, sausages, chips and salads. A great time was had helping our environment in a small way. Well done team!!
