Thanks to your generosity, we have raised close to $8000 to purchase and pack birthing kits to help women in developing countries give birth safely.
In early May we will be packing 3000 of these kits – and we need your help!
Registrations are now open to attend one of our birthing kit packing sessions on Saturday, 4 May.
This is the sixth year we’ve supported the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia by purchasing and packing birthing kits.
Each kit costs $5 and includes simple items to help women at home or with limited medical support deliver their babies safely, with reduced exposure to disease and infection.
The Foundation distributes kits to remote regions of the developing world, where they have been proven to save the lives of mothers and their newborns.WHEN: Saturday, 4 May 2024 (three shifts to choose from).
